Hello Everyone ~ I am in love with my Feels Like Frost Santa’s Sleigh creation today.
I got my cauldron! I am so excited as I know how I want to decorate my front porch ~ did you see my post yesterday to see what it looks like this month? ~ and I wanted a cauldron. Barb found me a plastic one at Michael’s. We went today to pick it up and then go to lunch. I also found some other things that were on sale that I got. I have everything I need for next month’s front porch decorating. Not sure what I am going to do in November, got any ideas?
I am super excited about today’s card using the Feels Like Frost designer series paper. I love how this one turned out! I took a piece of the Sparkle glimmer paper and cut out the center since my designer series paper was going on top. I cut the Feels Like Frost dsp pattern down to fit on top of the glimmer paper and added it using glue dots. This layered panel was attached to a Night of Navy card base. The deer from the retired stamp set Santa’s Sleigh was stamped on Crumb Cake using Early Espresso ink. I used a Basic Black marker to color the hooves and a white gel pen to color the tail. I do not have the dies for this set, so I fussy cut it out. I need to play with my Cameo so I can then just run this through the machine and have it cut it out. The deer was then added to the card front using dimensionals. The sentiment came from the same set and was stamped using Night of Navy. The Ornate frames dies were used to cut out a Night of Navy layer. The sentiment was attached to the shape and then added to the card base using dimensionals. Here is the completed Feels Like Frost Santa’s Sleigh creation.
